In stationary applications, AG-Cycle will lead to maximum reduction of fuel consumption in three following areas:

1. Power Production

In the US, AG-Cycle will reduce cost of natural gas electricity on average by 33%.

AG-Cycle will extend life cycle of coal power plants scheduled for decommissioning, and reduce coal power plants’ fuel costs. Particularly, if it was implemented in full scale in 2019, an average estimated fuel cost reduction would have been around 41%, if fuel prices had not changed.

Pairing AG-Cycle with Supercritical Carbon Dioxide (S-CO2) power plant will create a power plant with unparalleled efficiency, consuming any liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon fuels of any grade.

2. Energy-intensive Industries

AG-Cycle will reduce fuel costs in cement, fertilizers, glass, steal, paper production; water desalination, as well as in any other energy-intensive industry by around 60%. Actual implementation of AG-Cycle in energy-intensive industries will be the simplest, because it will only require substituting conventional hydrocarbon burners with AG-Burners.

3. Heating and Combined Heat and Power (CHP)

CHP systems are gaining popularity among consumers because CHP is a smart solution for greatly reducing cost of electricity and heat. Lowering power costs is possible because the integral fuel economy of the system is close to 100%; the overnight, per kW of power cost of the system, is lower than that of industrial power generating capacity; transmission and distribution power losses of around 5% do not pertain to CHP electricity. AG-Cycle is compatible with all types of CHP systems, and can reduce fuel costs by around 60%.
